Indigenous employees' participation within the national training program

In order to achieve a sustainable workforce, we support our Indigenous employees with ongoing traineeships and apprenticeships that often start even before the employees have their first day of work with us.

Our strategy is to promote employees’ training and up-skilling as we recognise that it improves employee retention and helps us to meet current and future labour demands.

Through our Skills Development Centre we offer apprenticeships to our employees. Our Indigenous employees have been part of this programme from the start. Training can be on-the-job, off the job, or a combination of both to achieve the nationally recognised and accredited certificates.
