We provide coal handling and out of pit haulage services, supply and manage critical coal processing and handling infrastructures, and offer stemming services. We also offer a reliable, safe and comprehensive logistical support service supplying underground coal mine equipment.
Coal handling services
This service involves the provision of load and haul activities utilising multi trailer units including the dual powered road trains. For customers in Queensland and New South Wales, we haul millions of tonnes of raw coal from pit to wash plant and then product coal to the rail-head for export. Operations also involve stockpile management, train loading for export coal and on-site materials handling services. Most operations are 24-hour, 7 days a week.
Out of pit haulage
We develop specific solutions to fit within our customers’ operational requirements. Over many years we have developed the dual powered pit hauler and introduced it to a number of our customers’ mine sites. This is a lower cost, higher productivity option for hauling materials out of mining pits. By using proven, readily available components in an innovative way, the dual powered pit hauler provides our customers with a cost-effective means of moving large volumes of material direct from pits to processing plants, without the need for rehandling at the top of the pit.
Underground coal mining support logistics
For underground coal miners in Queensland and New South Wales, relocating their longwall mining equipment requires capital intensive assets for a limited time. We fully understand all elements of this mission-critical process and offer a reliable, safe and comprehensive service to ensure that miners have the seamless availability of high-quality equipment, together with the mandatory certification and safety documentation.
We also offer other services, including transport and logistics, interface services, coal handling, and supply and management of critical coal processing and handling infrastructures.
We have also recognised that the underground coal industry is setting new standards around flame prevention during mechanical maintenance. To drive standards, training and certification, we offer a training program and assessment on flame prevention mechanical staff.
